"Aimee's Way is different from your average salon. It's a small owner operated establishment so you get a lot of personal attention and care. The spa focus is on skin care and lymphatic massage (no waxing) and I find it's PERFECT for someone who is serious about skin care.
I actually consider Aimee's to be more of a spa-clinic though there is no official Rx association. But her perspective and approach to skin care along with her experience and especially the RESULTS I have had are similar to the medi-spa treatments that I have received elsewhere. Her office is small but like others have noted, very clean and comfortable.
I've had problem reactive skin since adolescence and have seen many dermatologists, tried many Rx prescriptions and treatments including Dr. office chemical peels and microdermabrasion, had many salon facials, tried many products including spa brands like Dr. Babor and OTC like ProActiv and Murad and Rx stand-bys like Retin-A and Tarzorac.
I've done A LOT to my skin and come to realize that not only is there is no quick fix, but a lot of junk just makes the problem worse or not worth the money for the limited results and side effects.
So it was SO REFRESHING to meet Aimee. She has a professional but also 'warm fuzzy' attitude about her work. "I have problematic skin, and my pores tend to get clogged pretty easily. After years of trying out various spas and products in the south bay(and also shelling out so much money in the process), I finally came by Aimees skin care last summer.
Its located in a nice neighborhood with ample parking at the back.
